PRATT, William Henry

Plane was a Beaufort A9-660 which took off from 5 Mile Drome near Port Moresby escorting Kittyhawk A29-649 on a non-operational ferry flight bound for Tadi Airfield. Nothing was heard from either aircraft and were declared missing in action. During the 1960's the wreckage of A9-660 was located on a mountain ridge N.E. Of Myola and the remains of the crew were recovered.
