Flight Sergeant Brown has completed a tour of operational duty. His sorties have been to such heavily defended targets as Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig and Nuremberg. A most capable air gunner his courage, devotion to duty and cheerful confidence in all times of stress, have set a fine example to all. On one occasion in September, 1943, his aircraft was intercepted by a Messerschmidt 110, which was damaged and driven off. Shortly afterwards another enemy fighter attacked but again the attack was repulsed. See Awards list No. 805. Part II.
